Day 1
Arrival and Rhino tracking at Otjiwa Safari Lodge
Welcome to Namibia!
Upon your arrival, you will head to the vehicle pickup area for a comprehensive briefing on your rental vehicle. You’ll begin your adventure by traveling through the capital city to reach Otjiwa Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, you can enjoy some free time or opt for an optional sundowner game safari.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will collect your car rental and make your way to the lodge. The drive is approximately 3 hours, so depending on your arrival time, you might have to spend the night in Windhoek.
Day 2-3
Safaris in Etosha National Park
You will savour a relaxing breakfast before heading to one of Africa’s finest national parks. Your lodge is conveniently located just minutes from the park entrance. Your stay includes one guided game safari in Etosha National Park. Known as an ideal self-drive safari destination, Etosha also offers you the opportunity to explore on your own during your two-night stay.
Day 4
Desert-Adapted Elephant Tracking
You will make your way to the awe-inspiring Damaraland, a captivating region in northwestern Namibia, renowned for its stunning, rugged landscapes. This area boasts dramatic desert scenery, ancient geological formations, and unique wildlife.
Your adventure includes a guided game safari, where your expert guide will track the remarkable desert-adapted elephants.
Day 5-6
Charming Swakopmund
You will travel to Swakopmund, located just south of Skeleton Coast Park. This charming town is renowned for its German architecture and a wide selection of restaurants. Upon arrival, we will provide you with a variety of activity options, including desert tours, dolphin and seal cruises, and ATV adventures.
Day 7-8
Massive Sand Dunes of Sossusvlei
Today, you’ll head to Namibia’s largest park, Namib Naukluft Park, home to the stunning red sand dunes of Sossusvlei. You will enjoy a two-night stay at Le Mirage Resort & Spa, and don’t miss the famous apple pie in Solitaire along the way.
Your stay includes a guided tour of Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, “Big Daddy,” and Dune 45. Additionally, Le Mirage offers an optional hot air balloon ride for a unique perspective of the breathtaking landscape.
Day 9
Windhoek
After enjoying breakfast at Le Mirage, you will set off for Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. En route, you’ll journey through the beautiful Khomas Hochland region. For your final evening in Windhoek, we recommend dining at The Stellenbosch Wine Bar for a memorable experience.
Day 10
Departure
Sadly your last day in Namibia.
After breakfast and check out, you’ll make your way to Hosea Kutako International Airport in time for your outbound flight.
